Licensed Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) - Private Practice
Perspectives Counseling Group (PCG) is a thriving private mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. We are seeking skilled and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team and contribute to our commitment to exceptional client care.
As a Licensed Therapist at PCG, you will provide high-quality mental health services to a diverse client population. This role offers the opportunity to build your own caseload, work independently, and collaborate with a supportive team of professionals. We are looking for a dedicated clinician who is passionate about helping clients achieve their mental health and wellness goals.

Client Care: Conduct individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs.

Assessment and Treatment Planning: Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress toward therapeutic goals.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including session notes and treatment plans in compliance with New Jersey state regulations and ethical standards.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering trust and a safe environment for growth and healing.

Collaboration: Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and ensure high-quality care.

Compliance: Adhere to all state and federal regulations, licensing board requirements, and ethical guidelines set forth by relevant professional organizations (e.g., ACA, AAMFT, NASW).

Licensure: Active and unrestricted license as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

Education: Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Skills:

Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, IFS, Solution-Focused Therapy, etc.).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

Ability to work independently while maintaining a commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms (preferred).

Specializations: Experience or training in specific populations or issues (e.g., trauma, anxiety, depression, couples therapy, adolescent therapy, substance abuse, etc.) is a plus.

Certifications: Additional certifications (e.g., EMDR, Gottman Method, Play Therapy) are highly desirable but not required.
