New Year's Resolution: Be More Supportive to Loved Ones Suffering from an Invisible Illness

Many people do not understand the effects of depression on those in our lives and it may just be easier to let it fall to the wayside as we navigate our own busy lives.  But as this new year begins, let's make a resolution to be more involved in our loved ones' lives...especially those who may need a little bit more caring.  When your friend is depressed and retreating from life, how do you draw them out of their shell without nudging them into an uncomfortable situation?
